Brick Farm House

This farm includes a stately historic brick farmhouse complete with four sizable bedrooms with closets, high ceilings, wide pine floors, and two well-appointed bathrooms.  Towering shade trees keep the home cool in the summer and create a cozy welcome to the entrance.  Newer vinyl windows throughout keep you warm in the winter.  When you enter the home, you’ll enjoy the new portico in the front of the house that serves as a mudroom for an active farmers’ home.  A spacious living room is situated perfectly off the warmly lit, eat-in kitchen featuring butcher block counters and newer appliances.  Go down the short hallway to the library with built-ins and private reading space.  Step out of the kitchen onto the farmers’ porch that overlooks the established perennial and annual gardens, complete with a large garden shed.  The expansive backyard leaves plenty of room for hosting events, playing yard games, or simply enjoying the long-range views down the valley around the fire pit after a hard day’s work.  Take a walk down the farm lane to the beach on the Ayers Brook to cool down in the summertime and relax by the stream.  Truly a gem of a home to compliment the award-winning goat dairy!
